Verifiable Quality Control: 5 Tests, Real Data, on Every Order

Quality at KJbath is measured, not promised. Every shower door order passes five QC tests – tempering, impact, packaging drop, salt spray, and 100,000-cycle roller push-pull – and ships with a QC report (tempering rate, impact and salt spray data) plus SGCC/CE certificate copies. Third-party inspection by SGS, TUV, or your own nominee is welcome before shipment.

The 5 QC Tests

Five inspections, ranked by what they cost buyers.

Not every defect carries the same risk. We weight QC toward the failures buyers fear most — glass safety and packaging integrity — and back each test with named equipment and recorded data. The stars show how heavily project buyers weigh each item.

Test 01 · Glass Installability & Safety ★★★★★

Tempering test: anti-shatter safety glass you can prove

Our tempering test machine verifies that tempered glass breaks into small, blunt granules instead of sharp shards — the core of our Anti-Shatter Safety Glass program. Glass starts from Xinyi originals, and the tempering rate is measured and recorded for each batch.

Lowers the risk of glass breakage and failed acceptance on hotel and apartment projects, with SGCC (North America) and CE (Europe) certified glass programs. Tempering-rate data lands in your QC report.

Test 02 · Shower Door Structure ★★★★

Impact test: structure that holds up in high-traffic use

The impact test machine loads the assembled door — glass, profiles, hinges, and hardware — to confirm the structure absorbs real-world knocks without failure. This is the difference between a showroom sample and Five-Star Hotel Standard durability.

Structural weakness is caught before shipment, not discovered by an installation crew on a busy hotel site. Impact results are part of the per-order QC report, so acceptance is evidence-based.

Test 03 · Export Packaging ★★★★★

Drop test: packaging engineered to survive the journey

Packaged units go through a drop test so the protection is proven before loading. Standard export packing combines a honeycomb carton with a reinforced wooden frame, tuned to the transport risk of each channel.

For e-commerce sellers (Amazon / Wayfair), drop-validated packaging directly lowers the logistics damage rate that eats margin and reviews. For projects, room- and zone-labeled packing — the logic we used on Canada’s 26-set MAGUIRE apartment project — cuts on-site sorting and rework.

Test 04 · Hardware Finish ★★★★

Salt spray test: corrosion resistance measured in hours

In the salt spray chamber, hinges, handles, rollers, and profiles are rated at 96 hours as standard and up to 240 hours for coastal specification — the backbone of our Corrosion-Resistant PVD Coating hardware programs.

96h suits hotels and high-humidity commercial bathrooms; 240h suits coastal resorts — the same thinking behind the salt-air hardware on Australia’s Waterview Beach Apartment project. A 96h claim is only credible with the report behind it, so salt spray data is included in every QC report.

Test 05 · Sliding Rollers ★★★★★

Push-pull test: 100,000 cycles of smooth running

Rollers and sliding mechanisms run through 100,000 open-close cycles on the push-pull test machine — our 100,000 Cycles Smooth Running benchmark — so a sliding door still glides after years of guest use.

Fewer jammed doors, fewer after-sales complaints, and fewer warranty claims across the installed base — endurance data that underpins our 5-year shower door warranty.

QC Workflow

Four inspection gates, from incoming material to loading.

QC is not a single final check. It is a sequence of gates that follows your order through our 10-step production flow, so a problem is stopped where it is cheap to fix — not after the carton is closed.

1

Incoming inspection

Xinyi glass originals, aluminum, hardware, and components are checked against the approved specification before they enter the line — wrong materials never reach the batch.

2

Process inspection

Checkpoints across cutting, grooving, assembly, and glass QC catch repeat issues early — before they spread across more units than a buyer can sort out later.

3

Finished-product inspection

Assembled units are reviewed for fit, function, and appearance, and the tempering, impact, and salt spray data is captured before packaging.

4

Pre-shipment inspection

Packaging drop validation, carton and wooden-frame checks, and labeling review — any failure stops the batch instead of drifting into shipment.

Test Equipment

In-house equipment, not outsourced claims.

Every number in our QC report comes from equipment we operate ourselves, inside a 15,000㎡ factory run by a 151-person team with full supply-chain control across four workshops. That is what makes the data verifiable.

Tempering test machine

Verifies tempered safety glass breakage and the tempering rate recorded for every batch.

Impact test machine

Loads the assembled door structure — glass, profiles, hinges, hardware — under controlled impact.

Salt spray chamber

96h / 240h

Rates hinges, handles, rollers, and profiles at 96h standard and 240h for coastal specification.

Push-pull test machine

100,000 cycles

Runs sliding rollers through 100,000 open-close cycles to confirm smooth, silent operation.

Drop-test rig

Validates honeycomb-carton + wooden-crate export packaging against real transport risk.

Per-Order Documentation

The evidence travels with the goods.

QC only protects a buyer if the evidence ships with the container. Every KJbath order leaves with a documentation package your inspector and your channel can use immediately.

QC report

Tempering rate, impact, and salt spray data recorded for the batch you receive.

SGCC / CE certificate copy

Safety glass compliance evidence for North America and Europe.

Illustrated installation manual

Professional, diagram-led guidance for site crews.

Spare parts pack

Rollers and sealing strips for fast after-sales service.

Export packaging

Standardized honeycomb carton plus reinforced wooden frame, labeled to your delivery logic.

Third-Party Verification

Your inspector is welcome.

Verifiable quality means you do not have to take our word for it. We routinely open the factory to independent verification before shipment — and keep your designs confidential while we do.

SGS, TÜV, or your nominee

We coordinate pre-shipment inspection with the third-party partner your order requires — SGS, TÜV, or your own appointed inspector.

Remote-friendly evidence

QC reports and certificate copies are shared so your team can review without flying in — a factory-visit substitute when travel is not possible.

NDA protection

Exclusive designs are covered by an NDA, and your custom molds are retained for your reorders only — never reused for another buyer.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about quality control

Six questions buyers ask most often about quality control – covering QC scope, third-party inspection, per-order documentation, salt spray ratings, and packaging drop testing. Tap a question to read our standard answer.

Is QC just the last inspection before shipment?

For serious buyersNo. QC should include incoming review, in-process checkpoints, assembly review, packaging checks, and escalation logic when something does not match the approved standard.

Can you coordinate third-party inspection before shipment?

For importers and project teamsYes. We can coordinate pre-shipment inspection with the buyer’s appointed third-party inspection partner when the order requires it.

Why does Quality Control need its own page?

For procurement managersBecause buyers do not only care how products are made. They also need to understand how defects are prevented from becoming shipment problems after the order is already committed.

What QC documentation do you provide with each order?

For compliance and QA teamsEvery order ships with a QC report recording the tempering rate, impact, and salt spray data for the batch, plus an SGCC/CE certificate copy, an illustrated installation manual, and a spare parts pack (rollers and sealing strips). Your inspector has supporting evidence on day one.

What salt spray rating do hotel or coastal projects need?

For hotel and resort buyers96 hours is our standard rating for hotels and high-humidity commercial bathrooms; 240 hours is specified for coastal and marine environments. The salt spray data is recorded in the QC report, so the rating is evidence, not a claim.

How does the packaging drop test protect e-commerce sellers?

For Amazon and Wayfair sellersDrop-validated packaging – a standardized honeycomb carton plus a reinforced wooden frame – lowers the logistics damage rate that drives returns and negative reviews, protecting your margin on every shipment.
